Askaynak SuperMIG 505W SP Synergic Pulse MIG Welding Machine
DETAILS
The domestically produced Askaynak SUPERMIG® 505SP, is a semi-automatic, synergic pulse inverter-based gas metal arc welding machine that delivers 500A at 50%, widely used in many sectors, including the automotive industry, metal furniture manufacturing, the shipbuilding industry, pressure vessel manufacturing, and the steel fabrication industry.
Features
- With the machine’s synergic mode, you only need to adjust the wire feed speed via the wire feed unit; the voltage is automatically provided by the machine.
- Pulse technology was developed specifically to burn off oxide layers on materials—such as aluminum—that have a dense oxide layer on their surface. The “peak current” breaks down the oxide on the material, while the “trough current” ensures penetration. In a pulse arc, a droplet breaks off from the wire with each pulse, and this droplet enters the weld pool without causing a short circuit. This feature makes it possible to weld without spatter.
- 2T/4T trigger mode.
- The soft start feature facilitates arc formation at the beginning of the welding process, while the soft stop feature prevents crater formation at the end of the welding process.
- Back-burn control ensures that the welding wire exiting the contact tip is the appropriate length the moment the welding process ends and does not stick to the contact tip after welding.
- Pre-gas and post-gas durations are adjustable. This ensures a smooth start at the beginning of welding and ideal gas protection at the end of the weld within the set time.
- Arc Force and Hot Start features (in MMA mode).
- It also offers memory features such as saving and recalling welding parameters. Up to 4 programs can be stored in its memory.
- Two digital displays for welding current and welding voltage.
- Thermal protection circuit and a warning light for thermal overloads.
