DRW Series – Deep Reach Welding System

This is a specialized automation platform developed to address access challenges during welding operations on transformer tanks, large box structures, power equipment, and heavy steel structures with complex geometries.

Thanks to the portal-type main structure, welding equipment or process units can be moved over the large workpiece, while the vertical access system ensures controlled access to the workpiece’s deep areas. This reduces the need for the operator or welding equipment to access the interior of the workpiece using difficult and risky methods.

The system is designed to provide more controlled, ergonomic, and repeatable production for internal corner welds, longitudinal seams, circumferential welds, and hard-to-reach areas of large, deep-volume parts.
