Axxair SATF-65 NDHX Enclosed Welding Head

This is an orbital welding head suitable for pipes with outer diameters ranging from 6 to 65 mm.

Thanks to the tungsten electrode’s flawless insulation, the possibility of an arc forming at a point other than the electrode is eliminated.

Thanks to the encoder-equipped, precisely adjustable motor, it is possible to initiate the welding arc at any angle during pipe welding.

It is suitable for welding thin-walled pipes without external wire feed.

The top jaw, with its specially adjustable clamping force, simplifies the assembly process even if there are dimensional issues with the pipes.

Thanks to the special cooling of the tungsten electrode holder and the aluminum base, part wear is reduced and heat-induced expansion of the pipe during welding is minimized.

The optional transparent glass insert makes it easier to monitor the welding arc during the welding process.
