KOBATEK 301 Steel Electrode 5.00 mm × 350, 5 kg package
It features a thick, basic-character coating and is used in joining welding applications on unalloyed and medium-carbon steels,
fine-grained steels such as St70, and steel castings up to GS70.
The resulting weld
exhibits high resistance to severe dynamic stresses. Another area of application is the use of this process for repair welding of worn machine
parts.
It is particularly ideal for multi-pass welded joints and welding applications where high strength and high resistance to impact and creep (aging) are required
over a temperature range of –50°C to +350°C. It enables the production of spatter-free, easily machinable welds that are resistant to the risk of hot cracking.
Tensile Strength: 58–62 kg/mm²
Yield Strength: 50–55 kg/mm²
Elongation (L=5d): 25–30%
Hardness: 210–230 HB
Impact Strength: 190 J (+20°C)
80 J (–50°C)
