KOBATEK 315 STEEL ELECTRODE 3.25 mm × 350, 5 kg package

It has been developed for welding fine-grained, high-strength steels such as N-A-XTRA and S690 with a yield strength of up to 85 kg/mm². It can also be used for joining steels with a tensile strength
steels with a tensile strength higher than 90 kg/mm². The welding metal is made of a
“Ni-Cr-Mo” steel alloy and is ideal for applications requiring high
toughness and crack resistance in cold environments down to –40°C.
For welding high-strength and heat-treated steels, a moderate level of
preheating is recommended. Kobatek 315 can also be used in multi-pass welding applications. In this case, the welding process should be performed continuously, with the interpass temperature
between 100–150°C.
