KOBATEK 326 Nickel-Based Welding Electrode 4.00 mm × 350, 5 kg package

High-alloy steels, hot-work steels, nickel and nickel alloys (Inconel 600,
Incoloy 800, Hastelloy, Nichrome), steels containing 5–9% Ni, copper alloys, and
non-ferrous metals in joining and filler welding. It is particularly ideal for joining thick-walled parts with multi-pass welds.
It is based on a “Ni-Cr-Fe-Mn” composition and stabilized with “Nb.” Its coating has a basic character.
It provides a weld metal with high resistance to oxidation, sub-zero (cryogenic) and very high
operating temperatures up to 1000°C, as well as to acids, salts, alkaline solutions, and cyanide (excluding sulfuric acid)
. The weld bead exhibits high resistance to cracking even under intense dynamic
stresses. It has a very high elongation ratio of 40–44
.
