KOBATEK 352 Steel Electrode 3.20 mm × 350, 5 kg package
The coating has a basic character and is used specifically for welding martensitic and martensitic-ferritic Cr-Ni
steel castings.
It provides a filler metal with high resistance to corrosion and erosion caused by water, steam, and seawater.
When welding thick-section parts, the base metal must be preheated to temperatures between 150–300°C, and the interpass temperature must be maintained at a constant level throughout the welding process.
When welding martensitic stainless steels containing more than 0.2% carbon,
softening and stress-relief annealing should be performed at temperatures between 550–600°C.
This results in weld beads with easily removable slag and a smooth appearance.
