KOBATEK 46 CAST IRON ELECTRODE 4.00 mm × 350, 5 kg package
It is a pure "Ni" core wire. It features the ability to weld easily in any position using AC or DC. Thanks to its fine-grained spray arc metal transfer, it is ideal for joining and filler welding, particularly on cast iron parts with dirty or oil-contaminated surfaces, as well as all types of defective castings and cast iron parts that are difficult to weld.
The post-welding machining of the filler metal is very easy, and it has a homogeneous and pore-free structure. It is used for cold welding of gray and malleable cast irons with no preheating and low heat input, as well as for joining cast iron to steel and copper materials
, and for creating a buffer layer before filler welding with a bronze electrode.
