KOBATEK 512 HARD-FILLER ELECTRODE 4.00 mm × 350, 5 kg package

This is a high-performance electrode used for hard-facing welding of machine parts made of carbon steels, alloy steels, or steels containing 12–14% manganese.
It is particularly effective against low-intensity abrasion
It provides a filler metal with a “Cr-Mo-V” steel composition that exhibits high resistance to low-intensity abrasive wear, particularly when combined with intense pressure and impact, and results in minimal dilution with the base metal.
With Kobatek 512, it is possible to achieve multi-pass welds of up to three consecutive passes. The electrode is easy to strike and restike, and a thin layer of slag forms on the weld bead.
