KOBATEK 576 HARD-FILLER ELECTRODE 3.20 mm × 350, 5 kg package
A high-performance hard-facing electrode that deposits a filler metal with a chromium carbide and boron carbide structure.
The filler metal enables excellent resistance to be achieved on parts subjected to severe
abrasive wear, particularly in high-temperature environments. Mining, the cement industry, and the iron and steel
industry are the sectors where it is most commonly used.
It is suitable for welding in a bottom-up position, provided the electrode is held in a swinging motion
in a bottom-up position, provided the electrode is fed.
Hardness: 66–70 HRC
The hardness value achieved varies depending on the type of base metal, the applied current, and the
—and consequently the thickness of the hard cladding layer.
