KOBATEK 578 HARD-FILLER ELECTRODE 3.20 mm × 350, 5 kg package

This is a high-performance hard-facing electrode. Thanks to its high "C" and "Cr" content, it provides high resistance to severe abrasive wear caused by mineral particles. The weld metal contains chromium carbides dispersed in an austenitic matrix. The weld
surface is smooth, free of slag, and can only be machined by grinding.
Transverse cracks forming on the weld surface are natural for this type of hardfacing metal and
do not cause any adverse effects in the working environment. Its most distinctive feature is achieving a hardness of 60–63 HRC
in a single pass.
