KOBATEK 818 Steel Electrode 3.25 mm × 300, 5 kg package

It provides filler metal with a "Cr-Ni-Mo" composition and "Nb" stabilization.
The filler metal has a ferrite content of 8% and is ideal for welding
stainless steels stabilized with "Ti" and "Nb". Weld beads resistant to intergranular corrosion are obtained.
The electrode is easy to strike and restike, and it has a spatter-free, calm
burn. The slag formed on the weld surface peels off easily on its own.
The weld metal exhibits high resistance to chemical effects—such as acetic, benzoic, citric, sulfuric, and phosphoric acids in solution or gas form—
at operating temperatures up to 900°C.
