PRODUCT DESCRIPTION PRODUCT REVIEWS

It is used specifically in hardfacing welding of manganese steels, low- and high-alloy steels, and carbon
steels.
It produces a filler metal with an austenitic matrix that contains hard carbides formed by the elements “Cr-Nb and B (Boron),” which provide high resistance to severe abrasive wear and high-temperature resistance. Very high hardness values are achieved in single-pass welding applications.
It cannot be cut using flame cutting methods. The resulting hardfacing metal
can only be machined by grinding. There is no need to use shielding gas
during welding

Hardness: 62–66 HRC

– Bucket tips and scraper teeth of rotary bucket excavators used in coal and phosphate mines;
– Drills and augers in brick and clay mills;
– Bulldozer blades and shovel bucket edges and scraper teeth used with sand;
– Wear plates and conveyor screws used in coal mines;

No gas shielding is required. If external gas shielding is desired,
a gas mixture of 98% argon + 2% oxygen may be used.
Before performing applications on high-carbon steels,
it is beneficial to apply a backing pass using Kobatek T-365 cored wire. The free wire length
should be maintained between 35 and 40 mm, and the filling process should be performed in no more than two passes.
