Lincoln Electric Power Wave AC/DC 1000 SD Submerged Arc Welding Machine

Power Wave AC/DC 1000® SD, in addition to the advantages offered by standard submerged arc welding methods,
such as high metal deposition rate and high penetration, and takes classic submerged arc welding applications to the next level by providing greater control over the welding arc and enhancing the level of control.

With the Power Wave AC/DC 1000® SD, it is possible to benefit from both the high penetration, welding speed, and metal deposition rate provided by DC submerged arc welding, as well as the resistance to arc blow found in AC submerged arc welding. In single-arc
processes, Waveform Control Technology provides a high degree of flexibility. In multi-arc processes,
the same flexibility can be achieved by controlling the phases between the arcs.

By connecting multiple Power Wave AC/DC 1000® SD units in parallel, it is possible to achieve higher
current values. Each Power Wave AC/DC 1000® SD has the capacity to produce a current of 1000 amperes with either AC or DC characteristics at a 100%
duty cycle.
