The POWERTEC i420S is a DC welding power source that operates on a three-phase supply voltage, produces a 420A welding current at 100% duty cycle, and features a detachable wire feeder.
It is a DC welding power source. The POWERTEC i420S power unit, combined with the standard LF52D wire feeder for basic applications
the standard LF52D wire feeder for basic applications or the advanced LF56D wire feeder for more demanding applications; the system is ideal for MIG/MAG welding on steel, stainless steel, low-alloy steel, and aluminum alloys, as well as for flux-cored wire
welding, covered electrode welding, and grooving applications on steel, stainless steel, low-alloy steel, and aluminum alloys, and helps meet customers’ potential welding needs.

The POWERTEC i420S power source comes with a cart, a pull handle, a 2-meter gas hose, a 3-meter
ground cable, a ground clamp, a chain to secure the gas cylinder, and a user manual on a USB drive. Additionally, all POWERTEC®-i S series products feature a water-cooling option when equipped with the COOLARC® 26.
