Luchs 2209 Stainless Steel TIG Welding Wire, 2.40 mm, 5 kg
This is a duplex stainless steel gas-shielded (MIG/MAG) welding wire used for welding duplex (ferritic-austenitic) stainless steels containing Cr-Ni-Mo. It is used for welding acid tanks and piping systems in the chemical, petrochemical, paper, shipbuilding, and seawater desalination industries. It can also be used to join duplex stainless steels with carbon steels. The weld metal, which possesses high strength and toughness, exhibits excellent resistance to pitting corrosion and stress corrosion cracking in chloride solutions. It can be used at service temperatures up to +250°C.
