Luchs 307L Stainless Steel TIG Welding Wire, 1.60 mm
It is used for joining and filler welding of plates made of armor steel, hardenable steels that are difficult to weld, and austenitic manganese steels that harden upon impact. It is also used in dissimilar metal joints created by welding between C-Mn steels and austenitic and ferritic stainless steels. It is particularly ideal for exhaust systems used in the automotive industry, where exhaust gas temperatures are high.
When welding plates made of armor steel, there is no requirement for heat treatment before or after welding. However, care must be taken to ensure that the interpass temperature does not exceed 120°C during the welding process.
