Luchs 410 Stainless Steel MIG Welding Wire, 0.80 mm, 12.5 kg
This is a martensitic stainless steel welding wire used for TIG welding of stainless steels containing up to 13% chromium, heat-resistant steels, and cast steels of similar alloys. It is suitable for joining gas, water, and steam fan blades, fan housings, and fittings—as well as for filler welding on sealing surfaces—that are exposed to operating temperatures up to 450°C and subject to corrosion and erosion. Depending on the base metal’s composition and thickness, preheating between 200°C and 300°C is recommended, as is maintaining the interpass temperature during welding and tempering at 700°C to 750°C after welding.
