LWP Series – Long Workpiece Positioner

It was developed to precisely rotate, center, and support long pipes, shafts, profiles, and cylindrical workpieces during welding, assembly, and fixturing operations.

The system consists of a driven headstock/chuck unit at one end that rotates the workpiece, a movable tailstock/center unit at the opposite end that provides axial centering, and an adjustable intermediate support unit on a rail that ensures the sag-free and stable transport of long workpieces.

Thanks to its modular rail structure, it can be easily adapted to different workpiece lengths. The intermediate support unit helps maintain the rotation axis by reducing deflection and vibration that may occur in long, slender workpieces under their own weight.
