MRC Series – Mobile Robotic Cell

The robot was developed as a modular robotic welding system in which the robot, positioners, and fixtures are assembled on a common rigid frame and can be easily moved within the production area using a forklift as needed.

At the center of the system is a fixed-position welding robot. Thanks to the multiple positioner stations surrounding the robot, different workpieces can be positioned within the robot’s optimal working area. Depending on the application, the positioners can be configured with a load capacity ranging from 500 kg to 1,000 kg.

The common chassis structure helps maintain the geometric relationship between the robot, positioners, and fixtures. This significantly reduces the need to reconfigure the mechanical layout and realign the equipment relative to one another when the system is moved to another location within the production area.
