It was developed to position long, heavy workpieces of varying lengths precisely, safely, and in a controlled manner during welding, assembly, and fixturing operations.

The system consists of a driven headstock unit on one side and a tailstock unit on the other, which moves along a rail to adapt to different workpiece lengths. This design allows the center distance to be adjusted according to the workpiece length, providing high flexibility across different product families.

Suitable for integration into manual, semi-automatic, and robotic production lines, this system improves production ergonomics, enhances welding accessibility, and supports repeatable production. In servo-controlled applications, it can also be configured as an external axis synchronized with a robot.
