OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The primary operating principle involves subjecting factory-produced welding flux to shock treatment by holding it at high temperatures, then lowering it to a low temperature for the drying process, and finally storing it in a resting state until it reaches the application point.
FUNCTION
Factory-produced submerged arc welding flux is subjected to a shock treatment at a temperature ranging from a minimum of 300°C to a maximum of 350°C
for 2 hours to undergo the shock treatment process. In the second stage, the furnace temperature is reduced to 130°C for resting, and the powder is kept in the furnace until it is transferred to the application site.
After the drying process, submerged arc welding fluxes should be transferred to buckets via a bottom-discharge system and transported to the application site as quickly as possible; it is recommended to remove only the amount needed for immediate use from the furnaces.
