OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The primary operating principle is to enable the shock treatment of factory-produced welding fluxes by holding them at high temperatures and subsequently allowing them to rest, all carried out in two separate compartments with independent thermostats.
FUNCTION
Factory-supplied submerged arc welding flux is subjected to a shock treatment in the first use at a temperature ranging from a minimum of 300°C to a maximum of 350°C
for 2 hours to undergo the shock treatment process. In the second stage, the furnace temperature is reduced to 130°C for aging, and the powder is held in the furnace until it is transferred to the application area. These furnaces are designed for companies with high-volume operations in terms of both capacity and timing. Both the shock treatment and aging processes can be performed simultaneously.
After the process is complete, the welding flux in the shock-cooling section can be transferred to the curing side, allowing for a faster replenishment of new product. It is recommended to use only the amount of cured welding flux needed for the current application.
